[Page 20] Strain Graph About Strain Graph The strain graph displays the variation over time of tissue strain caused by compression in real time. Pressing the tissue which you want to image so that the periods and amplitudes of the Strain Graph are constant makes it possible to create a stable Elasto Mode image. Pressing probe (applying pressure to tissue) → Positive value Withdrawing probe (releasing pressure from tissue) → Negative value * Stronger pressure increases the amplitude. Gentler pressure reduces the amplitude. Lesion A …The mean strain within the region surrounded by ROI-A ROI - A B …The mean strain within the region surrounded by ROI-B B/A…The comparison of strain within ROI-A to ROI-B (Strain Ratio) Measurement results * The strain is expressed as a percentage (%). For example, if a 100-mm object has a strain of 1 mm, the strain is expressed as 1%. Strain Ratio ① Select a Str. Ratio from Measurement Menu. ② Move the cross cursor displayed in the center of the screen to the desired starting point of ROI-A, and then press the ENTER key. ③ Move the next displayed cross cursor to the desired end point of the ROI-A, and then press the ENTER key to draw the ROI.
